Liquid roofing and coatings in Hornchurch

A seamless coating for roofs that are a nightmare to sheet — upstands, pipes, and details a single membrane cannot hug.

Not every flat roof wants a single rubber sheet. A roof crowded with pipes, a balcony with a door threshold already tight on height, or a small detail around a lantern is often better in a liquid system: resin laid wet, reinforced with matting, and cured into one skin.

We specify liquids in the Cromar class where that is the honest specification, and EPDM where a sheet is cleaner and longer lasting. You will not get a coating because it was the product on the van. If the deck is rotten, liquid will not save it — the boards come up first.

The finish in the photo is what a fresh coating looks like: even, reinforced at the edges, and drained, with the scaffold still up so the cure is not walked through.

What is included

  • Cold-applied liquids, no hot torches against a timber deck
  • Ideal for awkward shapes, balcony decks and plant rooms
  • Embeds over sound existing coverings when a strip-off is wasted money
  • Reinforced at corners, outlets and splits
  • Specified alongside EPDM — we fit the system the roof needs

Questions on liquid roofing

Liquid or EPDM — which is better?

EPDM for a straightforward extension, garage or home flat roof. Liquid where the shape is fiddly or the threshold will not allow another layer of boarding and sheet. We will tell you which on site, with a price for each if it is a close call.
