Rainham takes more weather than people expect. The open ground towards the marshes and the Thames drives rain under lifted lead and over gutter edges. We cover the village, the estates, and the houses out towards the A1306 — pitched roofs, flat roofs and the roofline in between.
A lot of Rainham flats were felt, laid well, and are now fifteen or twenty years on. EPDM is the replacement we recommend when the deck is still sound or once the rotten boards are out. Gutters come in the same visit if they are already overflowing, because a new roof with a dead gutter just moves the leak.
We are in Hornchurch, not Southend. Rainham is a normal job, not a favour. Call or WhatsApp Rob and we will tell you when we can be there.

Work we do in Rainham
- EPDM flat roofingA rubber membrane that does not split every summer. The flat-roof system we fit most, from garage roofs to full extensions.
- Roof repairsFind where the water is actually getting in, then fix that — not a new roof you do not need.
- Tiling and slatingNew coverings and careful repairs on the pitched roofs these streets were built with.
- LeadworkCode lead, dressed and pointed — the detail that actually keeps terraces and extensions dry.
- Liquid roofingA seamless coating for roofs that are a nightmare to sheet — upstands, pipes, and details a single membrane cannot hug.
- Gutters, fascias and soffitsIf the gutter is overflowing into the wall, the roof is not the thing that is leaking.
- Roof surveysA straight report before you buy, or before you spend money on the wrong repair.
