Half the ‘roof leaks’ in Elm Park and Rainham are gutters. A joint has dropped, the fall runs backwards, or last year’s leaves have turned into soil and the water is sheet-flowing over the back edge into the soffit. We check the fall before we sell you a new roof.
Where the fascia is soft, the gutter screws are holding nothing. Steven Diett’s review is the full version of this job: new roof boarding, new soffits, fascias and gutters, and the rubbish gone. Smaller jobs are a single elevation, a bay, or a downpipe that has been pouring onto the path.
We do not dress it up as a cleaning subscription. If it needs a clean and a reseal, that is the quote. If it needs replacing, you will see why.

- New uPVC or aluminium gutters, downpipes and outlets

Questions on gutters, fascias and soffits
Do you clean gutters as well as replace them?
Yes. A one-off clear-out and flush is often enough before winter. If the gutter is split or the brackets have pulled out of rotten timber, cleaning it is pointless and we will say so.
